Job requirements
Your Responsibilities:

• Co-manage the financial accounting of multiple entities;
• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements in line with local accounting standards;
• Reconcile accounts, including intercompany transactions;
• Prepare and support tax returns and regulatory reporting;
• Contribute to optimizing accounting processes;
• Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders;
• Ensure compliance with legislation by reviewing and validating financial documents;
• Verify and analyze expense accounts, including those related to IT projects;
• Calculate salaries and taxes, including for special arrangements (e.g., IT project collaborators);
• Ensure tax and financial compliance for international operations.

Your Profile:

• Completed training as an accountant or a comparable qualification;
• 3–5 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in an international operating company;
• Experience with the governmental “IT Park” program is a plus;
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and tax laws in Moldova; familiarity with the German Commercial Code (HGB) is an advantage;
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Elemento or similar systems;
• Structured, independent, and detail-oriented work approach;
• Strong communication skills;
• Fluent in Romanian (spoken and written) and proficiency in English.
