Operations manager

A multinational Retail company is looking for an experienced Operations Manager, responsible for organising and supervising the entire operations and to ensure that work is carried out, correctly, efficiently and on time.

Requirements for the candidate:
1. University degree or equivalent through experience
2. 5-6 years relevant work experience preferably in the Retail environment
3. Ability to work under strict deadlines
4. Computer literacy
5. Very good interpersonal skills
6. People management skills
7. Strong business understanding
8. Enjoy outdoor work
9. Very good command of the English language
10. Personal car

Main responsibilities:

• To analyse and understand the environment he/she is called to operate in and understand fully the implications of the operation
• Ensure that the work quality is of the highest standards
• Ensure that the operation is run in the most efficient and productive way
• Systematic organization and planning
• To ensure that quality control procedures are applied
• Carry out performance appraisals
• Assist in budget preparation and follow up costs
